Ram Board Goes Back To School At Dulwich College

Ram Board, the US-made hard floor protector from Trio Plus, is joining millions of students from around the UK in heading back to school this week. It has been chosen by Dulwich College, an independent day and boarding school in south London to protect its new floor during various works.

Founded in 1619, the current Dulwich College campus was opened in 1870 and resides in a traditionally elegant building designed by the son of the architect of the Houses of Parliament. Outside, triangular gables, turrets and cupolas add a sense of drama and hint at a style known as ‘North Italian of the Thirteenth Century’ while inside, a great hall and sweeping staircases nod to grandeur and the selective academic aspirations the College is founded on.

Having installed a brand new floor, a consignment of Ram Board was laid when a grand piano needed to be moved across the floor to protect the surface from damage. A second deployment of Ram Board temporary hard floor protection has also been ordered for use during maintenance works where lightbulb changes require a 600 kilo scaffold tower.

Unlike many temporary floor protection products, Ram Board can be used with new floors which have been recently laid as it allows them to cure due to its unique vapour permeable layer and Flex-Fibre technology.
