Two Major Movies Order Trio Plus Temporary Floor Protection For Use During Filming

Two major motion pictures have become the latest in a long reel of film and TV productions to order temporary floor protection products from Trio Plus. Both the Alan Partridge movie and The Muppetts…Again! will use a selection of solutions from Trio Plus during important location shots.

Based on the hit TV series of the same name, The Alan Partridge Movie is a British comedy starring Steve Coogan, Colm Meaney, Sean Pertwee, Anna Maxwell Martin. It is set to be released later this summer. When filming started in January, Trio Plus’ temporary carpet protector and premium fleece hard floor protector joined the cast on set.

Carpet protection provides a barrier between the carpet and any liquid spills as well as falling dust and dirt or mud tracked in on bottoms of shoes and heels from outside. During location filming at the United Grand Lodge in London’s Covent Garden, the production company filming The Muppetts… Again! movie called upon a premium hard floor protection product to safeguard the floors of the unique venue. The United Grand Lodge is the oldest Freemason’s Lodge in the world. The present building is the third on the site and was constructed in 1927, commemorating Freemasons who died during the war. It is thought to be one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in England and is a grade II listed building inside and out. To protect its valuable floors during filming, premier self-adhesive fleece was applied directly to the surface of the floor.

Also used by The Alan Partridge Movie crew, Trio Plus premium temporary hard floor protector is ideal for protecting from dirt and dust. Just like the carpet protector it provides a barrier between the floor and mud, dirty shoes or liquid spills. The floor protection fleece consists of a felt topside and polythene backing, absorbing spillages like a sponge and preventing fluids penetrating. The material will not break up and is easy to sweep clean. It is supplied with a self-adhesive which sticks the fleece tight for up to 45 days or until removed.
