Trio Plus, the specialist floor protection products supplier, continues its domination of the silver screen with three new confirmed TV production deals for its temporary floor protectors. The contracts will see a range of hard floor and carpet protection solutions being used during filming of a series of sitcoms and dramas.
The carpet protection film offered by the Surrey firm has been chosen by the producers behind the new BT Talk Talk commercial. The production team opted for premium fleece hard floor protection and heavy duty carpet protection film to protect hard floors and carpets while shooting on location.
The Premium White Fleece for Hard Floor Protection is felt topside that has a white anti-abrasive non-woven layer that is easy to sweep clean and that does not break up. Its self-adhesive green polythene backing provides tight and safe adhesion on hard floors, whilst it is also eco-friendly. Its anti-slip topside offers sponge-like absorption of spillages whilst its polythene backing guards against fluid penetration. It also comes in 1.5mm thick reusable rolls.
Trip Plus carpet protection products have also been chosen for the filming of Channel 4's Brothers & Sisters. In this instance, the production team chose Correx Hard Floor protection, Premium Fleece Hard Floor and Carpet Protection Film.
Correx Fluted Plastic Sheets are ideal for environments such as those with very old, delicate or valuable floors for which a self-adhesive floor protection solution is unsuitable. These plastic sheets are much more cost-effective than traditional means of sensitive floor protection such as plywood or cardboard, which has led to their widespread use in DIY refurbishment projects and in the world of construction.
An extra 200m2 of red multi use hard floor protection and premium fleece has also been ordered by production teams working on the new Debenhams TV commercial. As with all other Trio Plus products, multi-use hard floor protection is self-adhesive, supplied on handy rolls and offers up to 45 days protection. It is a perfect general purpose barrier, providing protection from damage for a wide range of surfaces, including vinyl, tiles, lino, hardware, cabinets, countertops, metals, marbles and a wide variety of hand and factory finished hardwoods and textured surfaces. It is a good choice for those who need to protect a wide range of floor and surface types other than carpets, being easy to apply, puncture resistant and highly durable. It also uses a water-based environmentally friendly adhesive that leaves no residue.
